Every Tree for a Hope is a youth-led environmental project founded in Kabul, Afghanistan, with a bold and simple mission:
plant 5 drought-tolerant trees every week to fight deforestation, Air Pollution, Global warming, and making Afghanistan Green.. We are students, Engineers ,Doctors, Volunteers, and citizens who care deeply about the future of our city. As Kabul faces worsening drought, dust, and climate damage, we believe change starts with small, consistent actions, like planting a single tree.
Our Story
In early 2025, Tamim Alimyar, a civil engineer and environmental advocate, launched this initiative after seeing how badly Kabulās hills were drying up and polluted. Armed with a few saplings, a team of dedicated friends, and a deep love for the land, the project beganāplanting 6 trees each week, using personal funds and local support. What began as a grassroots act of hope has become a growing movement.
Our Vision
We dream of a green Kabul, where trees replace dust, hills bloom with native plants, and future generations breathe cleaner air.
Whether you're a donor, a volunteer, or someone who simply believes in greener futuresāyou are part of this mission.
