Every Tree for a Hope is more than just a tree planting campaign — it’s a long-term movement for environmental change, community involvement, and climate resilience in Kabul.
Here’s what we do every week, without fail:
We plant 6 drought-resistant trees every week in the dry hills around Kabul, focusing on areas affected by erosion, deforestation, and rising temperatures.
We choose hardy, fast-growing species like Acacia, Tamarisk, and Moringa that survive harsh conditions.
We don’t just plant and leave. Our team:
Waters each tree regularly on a weekly basis
Uses soil-enhancing nutrients and moisture-retaining materials
Adds protective fencing where needed
Monitors the health and growth of every sapling
We focus on bare hillsides and dust-prone zones around Kabul where greenery is most needed. These areas are selected based on:
Soil condition
Access to water (or stored water tanks)
Community impact
Each session is:
Photographed and filmed
Shared on social media and our website
Logged in our public planting record
You can see exactly where your support goes—from sapling to tree.
We involve:
